and lovingkindness create a full, satisfying practice that we can commit
to over time. Take a full day to explore and
develop this practice. Become
more fulfilled in your life, on and off the mat.
The day-long
retreats are intended as oases for you, have a friendly pace, and
all include:
Yin postures - easy/moderate, each held for 3-4
minutes.
Postures – Anusara
Style - active, standing, balancing, twists, inversions, etc.
Partner postures - a few, as well as a guided neck and shoulder massage.
Breath techniques - some invigorating, some balancing and relaxing.
Brief meditations - focusing on breath, sensations, and emotions.
Short readings and talks – from books, audiotapes,
DVD’s by senior teachers
such as Jack Kornfield, Sylvia Boorstein and Brian Swimme.
